On Friday night the parents are invited to attend and hear the Gospel message presented as well as see what their children have accomplished that week.
The Teens of VBC not only have their own Sunday School class but also have their own Wednesday evening service at 7:00 PM. There are also special activities throughout the year, including a volleyball tournament, summer camp, pizza parties, and several joint activities with other local churches.
Camps - VBC sponsors Summer Camp at Kyte River Revival Campgrounds, near Rochelle, IL. This camp is for Teens (ages 13–18) and Primaries (ages

Nursing Home - On the 1st Sunday of each month, VBC holds a special church service at the Tiller's Nursing Home on Rt. 71 in Oswego. We meet with the residents, sing several songs, and have a short message from the Word of God. Everyone is invited to come over to Tillers at 2:00 PM for this exciting time with these dear folks.
Revivals - Several times during the year, special services are held to further strengthen our faith. Revival meetings are held once in the Spring and once in the Fall Here the focus is on personal and corporate revival of our hearts and service to Christ. Some of the greatest preachers in the world have preached to us from the pulpit at VBC including, Dr. Lee Robertson, Evg. Jim Delashmit, Dr. Bobby Roberson, Evg. Dan Knickerbocker, Dr. Tom Wallace, Dr. Tom Sexton, and many others.

Spanish Church - Eternal Life Baptist Church
Valley Baptist Church help start the Eternal Life Baptist Church. This ministry is for folks in the community who seek to worship God in an environment where they are comfortable speaking their own language. The ministry is a close-knit group of Spanish-speaking people who enjoy various activities and get-togethers and use the Bible as their only guide for faith and practice. The Bible is preached and taught and discipling each Christian is emphasized. Pastor Aguilar seeks to carry out the Great Commission (seeing people saved), and then help people grow in the Lord.
A nursery is provided for babies and young children. Sunday school is available for all age groups. The service times for all Spanish services are located on the service times of website.
If you or someone you know speaks Spanish or would be interested in attending, please call our church office at 630.554.8109 and ask for our Spanish director. The Spanish church has relocated to Aurora IL.
Ministerio Hispano
